• Do you have a shop that I can visit?
Yes, we do! The Love Fireworks shop is at 92A London Road, Sandy, Beds. SG19 1DW. We are off the A1 southbound just before the Sandy roundabout. We have plenty of on-site parking and you're sure of a warm welcome. The shop is seasonal and is only open at certain times of the year. We open from the 15th October until the 10th November and again from 27th December until the 31st December for New Year's Eve fireworks. Although the shop is closed at other times of the year you can order online 365 days a year and collect from the shop all year round with enough notice - although payment must be made online.
• What are the best fireworks to buy?
We’ve got a fantastic selection of rockets, roman candles, ready-made display packs – in fact, everything you need to put on a safe and spectacular show. The best fireworks are right here for you! Even if you decide not to buy from us, always use a reputable supplier that is licensed to sell fireworks all year round.
• What if it rains?
If the weather is inclement, we recommend using plastic bags or clingfilm to protect your fireworks from the wet – especially if you are setting up sometime before firing. Cakes, fountains and roman candles will easily fire through a layer of plastic, but we recommend uncovering wheels and rockets before you fire them.

• Can I set my fireworks off anywhere?
It is illegal to set fireworks off or throw them in a public place such as a park or street. You MUST have the land-owner’s permission to set fireworks off.
• Can I set off my fireworks at any time?
Currently by law in the UK, it is illegal to set off fireworks between the hours of 11pm and 7am. There are certain exceptions to this;
Bonfire night you can set your fireworks off until midnight
Chinese New Year, Diwali and New Year’s Eve you can set your fireworks off until 1am.

• How much room do I need to set off fireworks safely?
This depends on what fireworks you are buying. F1 fireworks are designed for use in close proximity (indoors) and includes our Indoor Fireworks. F2 fireworks are labelled for viewing at 8m or 15m depending on the effects and the power. F3 fireworks are much more powerful and as such are labelled for viewing at 25m.
• Do I need to notify anyone that I am having a display?
Legally, no. BUT we do wholeheartedly recommend that you let your neighbours know you’re having fireworks (especially outside of the Nov 5th season) and especially those with pets or young children. If you live near to fields with horses or cattle, then out of courtesy you should let the owners know. Other people you should think about letting know are the local police station, fire brigade and coastguard where necessary.
See our full blog post on this subject by clicking this link - Who should I tell that I am going to be using fireworks?
• How should I store my fireworks when then arrive?
Your fireworks will arrive in strong, sturdy packaging. Check your order when it arrives but put the fireworks back into the boxes that they came in. This will help protect them. Store them in a dry, cool place away from and damp and away from all sources of ignition.

You have to be at least 18 years of age to buy fireworks. It is illegal to possess fireworks in the UK if you are aged under 18.
